Thanks for the plug - we are just about up and running at St Matthew's.
I am using classblogmeister again but have set up the 'school' as teacher with two 'classes'. The teachers are one 'class' and children are the other. The teachers can blog without approvals but the teachers have been cut free of the editing system. What this means is that the children will be able to keep their blogs throughout their time at St Matthew's and these will evolve into a powerful record of learning.

Nice work Rachel and thanks for the kind words about Matau School. Ed Weblogs are still ticking along but I'm putting time into working out where we can go next. Teachers tend to be a bit reluctant to put the time in. However the kids are buying in big time. None of the kids that went on to high school contributed to their weblogs which was disappointing. However after chatting with a few I discovered all of them have set up on sites like Bebo. Certainly food for thought
